Google AdSense New Payment Method For All Malaysians

Looks like its a month filled with good news for all Malaysian bloggers in particular, and this time it is Google AdSense coming to our rescue. Apparently, yesterday Google AdSense had announced a great new payment method for all Malaysian (Individual Payee Names only) publishers, as well as several other countries. The new payment method we're all excited about is called Western Union Quick Cash, a much quicker and easier way to receive payment from Google AdSense.

Previously, Malaysian Google AdSense publishers were only given two options in receiving their payments, namely the Standard Delivery Checks method or the Secured Express Delivery Check method.

Standard Delivery Check Method
  • Receive checks within 2 - 3 weeks from their mailing date.
  • Incur much higher bank fees.
  • Long clearing time for foreign country checks
Secured Express Delivery Check Method
  • Receive checks within 5 - 10 working days after they've been sent.
  • Incur a USD24.00 processing fee.
  • Incur high bank fees.
  • Long clearing time for foreign country checks.
Western Union Quick Cash Method
  • Receive cash payments via worldwide Western Union money transfer service.
  • Payments are ready for withdrawal at our local Western Union Agents (any CIMB branch) office the very next day after Google AdSense payment schedule.
  • Cut down bank fees.
  • Payments can be withdrawn in local currency over the counter.
  • Have your conversion rates calculated based on the rate used by the Western Union Agent on the day you collect the payment at the counter.

Malaysians Can Now Withdraw Money From PayPal

This news can to me in an e-mail and I couldn't believe my eyes. I just had to immediately share it with all my Malaysian readers as well. That's right, Malaysians can now withdraw money from their PayPal accounts into our local Credit Card or Debit Card. This is indeed great news as we were previously unable to enjoy this very important feature. For many years now Malaysians were only allowed to sign up for an account and do the normal transactions like sending money and making online purchases, using their PayPal accounts but unfortunately the funds accumulated there were not allowed to be withdrawn for local usage.

The usual means of actually getting to enjoy the money from our PayPal accounts in the past was to purchase products online or in some fortunate cases (people who had relatives or close friends living abroad) to transfer the said funds to another persons PayPal account who resides in a foreign country and they then transfer it back to us through cheques, telegraphic transfer, money order and so forth. And there were those who also began to use E-Trade accounts as well to access these funds which they had in their accounts.

But all these were considered to be time consuming and not to mention risky at the same time due to the fact that they could get their PayPal accounts possibly frozen in the process if they were not careful. Now all this is in the past as PayPal has graciously lifted the ban and opened their doors to all Malaysians to have direct access to their funds. So, as long as you have a Credit Card, Debit Card (in some cases they're called Check Cards, ATM Cards, or Banking Cards) that shows a Visa logo, you'll be verified and only then be granted to have this access.

As with all foreign currency transfers, there are certain charges incurred for all this. PayPal is currently imposing a USD5 fee on each of those transactions and expect 5 - 7 days for them to process your withdrawals.

I am sure that PayPal's lifting of the ban on Malaysians will spur us all to do well as we are now in the same leagues with other top influential countries. My only hope is that this feature will be a long standing one and hopefully no Malaysian out there should jeopardize the facility provided by PayPal. So what are you guy's waiting for, sign up for a PayPal Business or Premier account and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

Updates (October 1st, 2007) :

Apparently it seems that Malaysia was not the only country allowed to withdraw money through local bank cards, but this same access has been granted to an additional 26 other countries as well. Countries such as Philippines, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Turkey, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta and so many more have also been given the big go ahead. To get a full picture on this, I highly recommend you make a trip over to the official PayPal site to see if your country is also listed into this same list.

How Do I Earn Money From AuctionAds/ShoppingAds ?

Everyone knows that online auctions are kind of a hot trend these days. It's really an opportunity for everyone to earn a reasonable income. Think of it as an avenue where you get to grasp that extra couple of bucks in a week that would come in handy, maybe to pay for your babysitter perhaps or even to have a nice dinner out with the family, once in a while. So, how do I earn money from AuctionAds? Simply by leveraging on their very lucrative eBay affiliate system added with bits and pieces on keyword targeting!

As I emphasized in an earlier article of mine related to money making opportunities, Google AdSense is still my top earner, but then again, there are other affiliate programs which I'm involved in, that throws in that extra cash when you least expect, AuctionAds is one such program. AuctionAds is definitely not a contextual ad product, so running it alongside Google AdSense is perfectly alright.

But then again, not everyone would agree totally on this, as each individual blog out there behaves differently, there might be a program that works very well at one site, but doesn't do quite well at another. I on the other hand evaluate things differently, basically I don't give up so easily and my plan is to constantly evaluate the traffic that comes to my site and analyze the keywords that drives them here through the search engines. These information is then transferred onto my articles and thus allowing this site to have an average 80% of it's traffic generated through search engine queries alone.

Eventually this is the same thing you would need to do in order for you to sell a product at your site whether it's Google AdSense, AuctionAds/ShoppingAds, Photographs, Hyperlinks or even Meta tags (you're still considered selling it) where we use "keyword targeting" - How many times have you seen an ad that doesn't coincide with your article? Many a times I guess. This is because not many of us tend to address the importance of keywords. We normally copy and paste, and that's it, job done! Adding target keywords ultimately will give you the right ads that you want your readers to see complimented with it's location at your site, and perhaps when they see this they'll eventually end up making a purchase.

What is AuctionAds and how will it benefit me?

AuctionAds is basically an avenue where you get to open up an account as a Publisher which allows you to paste their ad code into your blog or blogs (with no limit to the number of ads placed on a single page or even at your multiple other sites). Relevant eBay products will then appear for auction at those given sites. Prices can be so low at times, it makes chances that much easier, to get a click through. Not only that, you get paid 1st of every month through PayPal, once you've reached their minimum $50 mark. On August 27 this year, they optimized their ad images so that it no longer looks stretched or even distorted. And then, on September 4th, 2007 they announced an increase in their affiliate payouts, from 2% initially to 5% on all revenue produced by publishers you refer, for the first 6 months of the new publisher's earning's. This is what we call smart leveraging!

Another good part about AuctionAds is that every time someone clicks the link from your site, AuctionAds will then place a 30-day cookie on those users and if they end up winning the bid (there are times, even if they don't win the bid, you still get paid) or converts into a signup (referral program) within that 30 day period, you will get paid! Just so that you know, they eventually will pay you a minimum 100% of the eBay commission revenue.

And I wanted to save the best information for last, effective September 5, 2007 all new publishers who signs up with AuctionAds, you will instantly receive $25.00 cash balance into your account! That's it, just sign up and receive $25.00... Wow, this is great news, and this is why I'm strongly encouraging my readers to see the bigger picture by being part of the AuctionAds affiliate program, which can eventually be a nice additional income stream for you.

Besides it's international targeting and large inventory of eBay products it is without a doubt yet safe to say, AuctionAds is one flexible advertising program!

Affiliate Programs

There are many ways that one makes money from simply blogging. We agree that Google AdSense is the number one choice when it comes to monetizing your site, but, as more and more bloggers are enrolling their sites into this type of contextual advertising program, it's quite common we find that their earnings are somewhat low at times. So, many bloggers nowadays look for alternatives to add on-top of their usual AdSense ads. This is totally a different story if you're John Chow or Darren Rowse as their traffic goes into the thousands.

So, what is the alternative here? Joining the right Affiliate program, is the other option. But, unlike AdSense ads which works on CPC (cost-per-click) and CPM (cost per thousand impressions) these Affiliate programs require your readers to click on the links and requires them to purchase a product, thus concluding a sale. So, for the majority of blogs that get low amounts of traffic, the idea of making more than $3.00 in a day can even sometimes be hard to achieve. But this all changes if you're a publisher in a certain Affiliate program.

By joining an Affiliate program, advertising a product at your site becomes so much easier as merchant ads and product links are easily assessable to your readers. You can also attach them into your e-mail campaigns thus giving you an additional edge in converting a sale. Another good thing about them is that they're free to join.

Commissions from such programs can vary depending on the Merchant's pay-out based on a percentage that they would preset. This can range from somewhere between 4% - 10% commission when a sale or other qualifying actions are completed. This is called CPA, or performance-based marketing. Definitely getting a 4% commission on selling a product worth $10-$15 is not going to be much for you, but, imagine this, what if someone buys a $6,000 product? And the best part out of this is that, the more you sell, the higher percentage of commission you will receive. That would give you an income that would probably take a couple of months to earn out of those AdSense ads alone. Trust me, there are a lot of people out there who are making a reasonable amount of money solely through these sort of Affiliate programs.

As there are many Affiliate Marketing companies out there for you to choose from, It's not going to be too difficult to find one that suits your site. For me personally, companies like : LinkShare and Amazon, works well. As both are trusted brands, I find them to be highly effective on my site. Chances are, once your readers are referred to these Affiliate sites they might end up buying more than one product, now how does that sound for passive income?

So what are you waiting for, if you're not already a LinkShare publisher, sign up for it using the following button.

Update On Viral Tag

First of all my sincere apologies to all my friends and fellow readers who have supported my site all this time, as I have been absent from my usual posting cycle. On a personal level, a lot has happened during this whole month that made me miss out on my time to address my site. I must reach out to certain friends out there who have tagged me to carry out certain tasks, my sincere apologies, if I am delayed in carrying out this.

My last posting was on last Wednesday, after I took part in an experiment of some sort to try to boost the page ranking tally at Technorati. Well, no doubt I've not been active in posting out articles for my site but with the little time I had in hand, I managed to monitor this train they call, the Viral Tag on a daily basis. This was done out of curiosity, to say the least.

To everybody who knows my history or if you have read my 'meme', you would know that I actually begun this blogging phase two months back. So, for most parts of the time, a lot of the experience I gained in handling these blogging issues or terminologies were either done through fact finding from over at MyBlogLog or through my mentor, my brother, who has been in this industry for well over 10 years now. So when there's technical issues that doesn't sound 'English' to me, these are the people whom I would turn to.

So, anyway getting back to this Viral Tag thingy, I started out this experiment when I had an Authority level of 6 and a Page Rank of 500,000+. To me (being the nerd of some sort), this was already something good, so I thought. Luckily, there came along my friend, Mariuca (check this blog out, it's been bestowed the much sort after, Thinking Blogger Award) who invited me to experiment this thing out. Ever since that blessed day, not a day has gone by, where my Authority Level and Page Rank does not go up at Technorati.

  • After 5 hours - Authority Level 11 and Page Rank 494,674
  • After 1 day - Authority Level 14 and Page Rank 392,986
  • After 2 days - Authority Level 44 and Page Rank 118,186
  • After 3 days - Authority Level 67 and Page Rank 74,402
  • After 4 days - Authority Level 123 and Page Rank 38,805
So, what does this all mean? To a lay man, it basically means nothing, but to the common blogger out there, this is something they want or sort after. The higher the Authority Level and the lower the Page Rank at Technorati, the better it is, for them. Some say this is also good for the next scheduled Page Rank listing by Google and also SERP. Maybe some of you might disagree, I'm not very sure, but it does make some sense because there is a lot of duplicate content around now that everyone is doing the same thing "Copy and Paste".

But the question mark here is what have I gained through to this whole Viral Tag experiment? Yes, my numbers are good now at Technorati from when I started, and through this I managed to view a lot of other sites that were cool and pretty useful in terms of information, but there were also some that could do with a translator tool at their sites (couldn't understand a word ... ). Made a couple of new friends a long the way, got some ideas, exchanged comments etc.

Traffic wise, I would say, yes, there is an increase to my site but not something extra-ordinary. Money wise, maybe it's something too early to say, because from my personal point of view, this Viral Tag train definitely gets you the numbers BUT it's all up to you on how you manage and tackle the situation, and how well you keep on producing good content that will make this new 'friends', keep coming back.

So, if you think you would like to share your two cents worth on this whole Viral Tag issue, please feel free to drop a comment and maybe, we could learn a thing or two along the way :)

The Viral Tags Train

I became involved in a Viral Tags Blog Rank Boosting Experiment recently by Mariuca. The original matrix is here. Copy the matrix, change the Host Tag to the three words that you want to use, and add their tag into the matrix, if it isn't there already.

Most importantly, when someone adds a matrix, be sure to add them to your list. Then, spread the word.
Here is the current matrix:
========= Copy and Paste below this line ==========

Instructions:

Important Update - Please read here!

1. Copy and paste the matrix of "ViralTags" below courtesy of Founders Cafe (to support Jimmy's quest of launching his own Internet Startup with a shoestring budget, please consider subscribing to his Full RSS Feed to see his triumphs and struggles in real time).
2. Substitute the Host Tag and one of the "Viral Tags" in the matrix with your anchor text of choice with your blog's URL. Please keep anchor text to a max of 3 words to keep the matrix size manageable.
3. When you get a ping back from someone that has your link in one of their "Viral Tags", practice good karma by copying his/her Host Tag's anchor text (automatically the associated link will also be copied) and paste it over one of your "Viral Tags" below.
4. Encourage and invite your readers to do the same and soon this can grow virally.

As more and more bloggers copy and paste this matrix, the more backlinks you will have with your anchor text. If everybody who copy and paste from your blog does the same, pretty soon this will spread and go viral. So, the sooner you participate, the more links with anchor text you will receive.

======== Copy and Paste from Above this line ========

There it is folks. This should help you improve your Technorati ranking, SERP and Google PR. Please leave a comment here, if you have copied from this matrix so that I can add you just in case your ping back didn't reach me. Technorati sometimes take a longtime to ping back.

What is Network Marketing ?

Another common word associated with Network Marketing, is Multi-Level Marketing or in short, MLM. Financially it's one of the fastest growing business in the world today, but sadly not many of us out there are aware of this. Network Marketing is in the overall commonly a misunderstood business. So let's find out here, "What is Network Marketing" all about?

Financial figures in the 90's showed that these so called Network Marketing companies had showed sales of 100 Billion Dollars worth of products on a annual basis. Now, wouldn't you want to get involved in a business as such?

To break things down for you, Network Marketing simply would mean, moving a product or a particular service from point A to point B, like from the producing source and then straight to the consumer. Although there are many different abbreviations for this word such as; Uni-Level Marketing, Co-op Mass Marketing or Multi-Generation Marketing, in the end, it all means the same, different people at different levels, all sharing high quality products with the intention of ultimately achieving a particular target of recognition and status, which ultimately boils down to money. Network Marketing is regarded as a system whereby means of compensation are provided by these so called Network Marketing companies to associates who ultimately move their products and their services.

On average Network Marketing companies use this three basic methods of moving products :

  1. Retailing - Just like a grocery store, a place where you go and buy something, this is the perfect example of retailing.
  2. Direct Sales - Examples like in the old days where there used to be Tupperware parties or an Insurance agent, Amway, Cosway and all the other Direct Sales efforts.
  3. MLM or Network Marketing - Please do not confuse yourself with the Direct Sales method (but sadly this is always the scenario)
Besides the list above, there are also other avenues of sales being done, but be warned of certain companies that use these banned Pyramid Schemes. I mean come on, the whole world is aware that Pyramid Schemes are illegal! But people still do get caught up in these sort of schemes.

It's understandable why people often associate Network Marketing with Direct Sales, it's usually because they are not aware of the facts surrounding the difference between the two. Further more Network Marketing companies are generally grouped into the same categories in the Direct Sales Association when they are first registered, so that makes explaining the difference a bit more difficult.

The word "selling" itself would push someone to a corner and hide. Imagine an Insurance agent knocking at your front door, the first thing in your mind would be to make the impression that there is no one at home, right? But as all Marketing Guru's out there would say : "Only 5% of us can be successful", so that leaves the balance 95% of the population of the world to be negative in their thoughts. Because of this perception, a lot of people out there feel that Network Marketing is all about "selling"and nothing more, and that's the only way that's gonna make you successful. How wrong they are.

But to put things in the right perspective, you don't actually need to "sell", in all honesty. But we do agree that the products have to move if not how else would you make money from this business. The tip to this, is that you have to let your sales come from a "natural source" whilst you're building your organization. Network Marketing surely does not emphasize the selling aspect on the whole.

First things first, you must acquire skills such as this :
  • "Share", do it with your colleagues, friends, relatives, family and so on. Make them aware of a higher quality product available in the market, compared to whatever they are using currently. Because if you do not share, then it's no better than the rest.
  • "Sponsor" The difference here is that you guide and teach your new sponsor's on the beauty of the business and it's vast benefit's. Because when you sponsor someone it's not just about recruiting but, showing them the bigger picture and it's potential, that's what you need to achieve. Let them know, how to build the business of their own. And this process would definitely duplicate at the end the day.
So, start focusing on building your organization as the main objective, and not concentrate on selling the products. It may take some time and effort, but Fortune is something that you can definitely find in this business!

Network Marketing

Imagine being able to walk your kids to school every morning....and never having to miss a school concert or a soccer game because you had to work. Imagine planning your work around your golf...instead of your golf around your work. Through Network Marketing this is possible.

Rapid growth of the Internet has given us the ability to make this all a reality through a level playing field. Many of us prefer to work from home, so whether it's a part time or full time thing, you are bound to get worldwide exposure.

Network Marketing, also called MLM or Multi Level Marketing can actually make fortunes for you and me.

Let's take the example of McDonald's, they didn't start off by having 30,000 plus restaurants all over the world, in fact they started with just one. The plan here is called, copycat a proven system and then duplicate it over and over again.

Duplicate your business model based around a proven product (like McDonald's did). Record down what needs to be done in detail so that the model can be taught to somebody else. If this model is proven to work and can be copycatted by the average person, then it can be successfully franchised, but if it only depends on your personal talent (like a one-in-a-million 'star') then it can't be successful, because the 'star' cannot be duplicated.

The reason why 'Mel Gibson' can command $50 million for acting in a picture is because he's the essence of a star. You could never franchise the product 'Mel Gibson' because he's not duplicatable.

Each of us are somewhat blessed with certain talents and gifts that makes us, one-of a-kind individuals. Some people are great singers, while others find it hard to even sing in their shower. To make both the people here equal, is to simply copycat. When it comes to copycatting, we're all gifted and geniuses at it. So why don't we copycat the way to creating wealth?

There is an old saying I would like share here : "If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll eventually continue to get what you've always gotten". This statement makes perfect sense, don't you think so? So try copycatting the system that creates true wealth, duplicate it and try entering 'different doors' in order for you to get different results because if you choose to enter the same doors in life, you'll end up right back where you started.

It's your turn now, so break out of the pack and begin creating true wealth and total freedom. Happy Networking!

How To Blog & Make Money

Somebody asked me this question just the other day, how did you start & create your Blog? Have you ever wondered how this can also be made possible to everyone out there? It all actually started by chance for me, added with a bit of curiosity.

A Blog is actually an abbreviated word for Weblog. It's somewhere where people can put down their thoughts and opinions in their own special way, through the Internet. Do you need to be a computer genius.... the answer to that, is No.

Nowadays, there are lots of blogging providers out there, who provide their services for Free, just to name a few, there is Blogger.com, GIDBlog.com, Wordpress.com, Livejournal.com, and so on. As you may have noticed this blog is under the good hands of Blogger.coms' team. They do all the hard work for us. All you have to worry about is what you're going to write in that blog. GIDBlog.com is also another provider where I'm having my Cars Blog . All of these sites are on 'ready to go' basis, meaning to say that, they have pre-made Templates (background designs on how your blog will look like) which you can pick and choose from. This is the interesting part, because you get to personalize it to the way you want it to be.

The providing site will guide you through simple language on what you have to do next, so don't worry too much about making a mistake. Almost forgot, whatever you do, do this first, choose a name and a short one at that for your blog, which would be very easy for everyone to remember. Learn from my mistake, even I have problems typing my blog name (I know you guy's are laughing....) It's just too long.

Once you've done that, decide on whether you want the blog to be something surrounding your personal experiences, like a diary (this can be difficult at times i tell you, even people with exceptional writing skills would find it hard) OR whether it's going to be on something specific, like maybe a blog just for movie lovers (stick to a particular topic) and so on. At the end of the day, you decide. Because sometimes being creative can make all the difference.

Assuming you've decided on the subject, next you, surf the net and compare other blogs and see how they have set up theirs and also introduce yourself to them by leaving some comments. This way you gain ideas on how to better your blog and will create a link back to your site. Another important thing in blogging is that you constantly must update it, so that your readers will keep coming back to your page. Once you get the hang of it, it'll be fun, trust me. Don't feel depressed if no one comes to visit your blog for a while. You know the world is huge so, it may take sometime for your blog to get noticed.

Alas, we can talk about money. Yes, you can make money through your blog. Monetize it by primarily applying to Google Adsense. Having reasonably a good amount of posts already available in your blog would help in your application. Adsense is an advertising program (run by Google) that helps you make money by placing content, referral and search relevant advertisements on your blog. So, have all this on your blog and keep on writing because, come one day, the traffic to your site could be enormous and you will end up laughing all the way to the bank.

Remember Blogs are meant for the world to see and read, keep it clean and enjoyable. Welcome aboard and happy blogging!

Making Money The Agloco Way

Setting up a Blog, can be an exciting experience as it has been for me. In those days, one had to be a web designer or a marketing guru of some sort in order to create one. I wanted to set up a Blog of my own but didn't know where to and how to? But new generation dot.Com's have come up and they make it so easy for someone to set up one and even easier to make money.

As I have set up my own Blog - Nihal's Anything and Everything, other things started to crop up in my mind, how to start advertising, how to increase traffic, how to create links etc? In my quest to search the answers, i found AGLOCO. This is something great, all you have to do is :

  • Become a Member - by briefly completing a sign-up page (it's entirely free)
  • Download a View bar - to do an Internet search (spy ware free) it will be placed at the bottom of your screen, so as to not distract the whole page (the downloads will be ready in a few weeks)
  • It's now your Company - (get cash and other benefits)
  • Invite your Friends - (e-mails, chat, phone, blogs.....) The more referrals, the more you tend to make.
The secret to all this, lies in the View bar. Just turn it on for 5 hours in a MONTH (That's all ???), and you will get paid! Unbelievable but true. It's like you watching advertisements on your TV or Newspaper but you don't get paid, here it's different, they pay you for watching.

Another way of adding money on top of the View bar payments that you would already get, is that you introduce AGLOCO to everybody around the world, and you will make 25% of what they make in the referral system that is provided by the Company. That's not all, this referral system goes 5 levels deep. Can you see the Big Picture here?

So in my honest opinion, don't wait. If making money online, is something serious you want to do, CLICK HERE and start that money making machine of yours.
